About the role

We are looking for you who are passionate about quality and want to influence how our most important systems function in a modern and dynamic IT environment. Connecting Stockholm is now looking for an experienced Test Manager who wants to drive and develop testing and quality assurance in both projects and operations. Here you will become part of an engaged and competent team where we work cross-functionally and together create value through collaboration, quality, and continuous improvements.

Main responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and coordinate requirement work and testing in projects, operations, and release cycles.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and analyses to capture, structure, and prioritize business needs.
• Develop and manage test strategy, test plans, and test design based on business requirements and risks.
• Ensure that testing activities follow the plan, quality requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate and drive requirement work and testing in cross-functional teams.
• Ensure functioning test data, test environments, and test tools.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, results, and approvals.
• Document test results and recommendations clearly.
• Work closely with developers, architects, and operations managers to ensure alignment regarding requirements and testing.
• Document decisions, status, and traceability in the requirement process in a clear and structured manner.

Qualifications

• University education in IT, systems science, or similar environments.
• Several years of experience as a Test Manager in larger projects or complex IT environments.
• Experience working with requirement management from start to finish, including requirement gathering, analysis, prioritization, and anchoring.
• Proficient in creating requirement specifications, user stories, processes, and acceptance criteria.
• Documented experience with test strategy, test plans, and test design.
• Experience with functional testing, system testing, integration testing, and acceptance testing.
• Accustomed to working closely with development, business, and architecture.
• Strong communication skills and experience reporting status, risks, and recommendations.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
• Independent throughout the entire testing process from analysis to release environments.
• You work in a structured and methodical way and have an aptitude for creating order and keeping track of details.
• You have an analytical and solution-oriented approach and quickly identify deviations, risks, and quality challenges.
• You can suggest relevant and well-founded actions.
• You thrive in collaboration with developers, business stakeholders, operations managers, and project managers.
• You contribute with security and clarity in common goals.
• You are flexible and can handle changed conditions, shifting priorities, and multiple parallel tasks in a professional manner.

Meritorious qualifications

• Test automation and regression automation.
• CI/CD flows.
• Testing in Azure (API, integrations, serverless, etc.).
• Experience with test data management and working with test environments.
• Experience in establishing and improving test processes.
• Experience with integration-rich system landscapes.
• Experience with business systems (e.g., ERP, VLS, case management).
• Experience with Azure DevOps for requirements and testing.
